Feather razor blades: a cheap way to shave
Japanese Feather blades and my German MÜHLE safety razor. My 2022 purchase worked out at about 32p per blade.
I recommend Feather Hi-Stainless double-edge razor blades. They’re made in Japan, and mine are the ones in the yellow pack labelled New Hi-Stainless: ten platinum-coated blades in a little white dispenser.
My Amazon invoice from 4 June 2022 records £15.99 for 50 blades, including VAT, with free delivery. That works out at about 32p per blade, at 2022 prices.
The appeal is simple: keep the razor and replace the blade. Once you have the handle, the blades are a cheap way to keep shaving.

One useful detail on the dispenser: there’s a slot on the back marked For used blades. The same little box has somewhere to put the old blades as you work through the new ones.
